Sujay Khandagale
Hello there! I am a graduate student at Columbia University majoring in Computer Science specialising in Machine Learning. Prior to joining Columbia, I completed my bachelor’s degree from IIT Mandi and also did a year-long semester exchange program at Aalto University, Finland.
Currently, at Columbia, I am working with Prof. Smaranda Muresan on morphological segmentation and POS tagging.
In the past, I have worked on various exciting machine learning problems like large-scale machine learning, text mining, computer vision. I have been very fortunate to be mentored by Prof. Rohit Babbar and be able to work with his research group on extreme multi-label classification (XMLC) while at Aalto.
In my free time I like to play tennis, workout and travel. I am always exploring new hobbies and my newfound interest is playing the Ukulele.
You can find a list of my projects and publications here.
